Why I'm Creating This Website

Social media isn’t a good permanent archive. Posts disappear into timelines, platforms change, accounts get deleted, and eventually it’s hard to see how someone’s thinking developed over the years.

This website is my answer to that. A place I control, where I can write about what I build, what I learn, what I believe, and what I’m still trying to understand.

I work in technology, and I want to build businesses around it. But I don’t want to be boxed in as “just a software engineer.” I’m based in Cambodia, thinking about technology and business here specifically, a context most tech writing doesn’t touch. That’s part of what I want this space to hold.

Not a portfolio. Not a professional profile optimized for how it looks to other people. A record of an actual person’s thinking, wherever it goes.

My views will change. Some of what I believe today will look naive in five years. Some ideas will get stronger. I want a record of that process, not a highlight reel of being right, but a trail of how I got from one place to the next.

Maybe someone finds this in ten years and sees what I was thinking about in 2026. They might agree, disagree, or wonder why I ever believed something. All of that is fine.

The point was never to be right. It was to keep thinking in public, keep learning, and see where it leads.
